Die gro\u00dfe Wasserfl\u00e4che, unendlich viele verschiedenen Angelstellen (Buhnen, Kehrwasser, H\u00e4fen, ruhige Naturufer, nahrungsreiche Steinpackungen, Sandb\u00e4nke) sowie wechselnde Wasserst\u00e4nde machen das Karpfenfischen zu einer echten Herausforderung.<br \/>Karpfen von \u00fcber 20 Kilo werden regelm\u00e4\u00dfig von einheimischen Karpfenfischern gefangen, wobei die Masse der F\u00e4nge Schuppenkarpfen sind. Es sind auch einige Fische \u00fcber 30 Kilo bekannt. Nicht zu vergessen ist der Top-Bestand an Graskarpfen, die im Fluss zu gewaltigen Gr\u00f6\u00dfen abwachsen. den stabilsten Wasserst\u00e4nden rechnen darf. Fr\u00fchjahr und Herbst sind wegen der j\u00e4hrlich widerkehrenden Hochwasser f\u00fcr den ausl\u00e4ndischen Angler (der nur eine Woche am Fluss Urlaub macht) etwas risikobehaftet. Au\u00dferdem ist es schwieriger die Karpfen bei der vergr\u00f6\u00dferten Wasserfl\u00e4che zu lokalisieren. (Es gibt sicher noch andere)<br \/>Erstens, man baut sich \u00fcber mehrere Tage einen Futterplatz auf, den man dann kontinuierlich befischt. Hierbei sollte man darauf achten, dass man fortw\u00e4hrend Futter ins Wasser bringt. Es war erfolgreicher, regelm\u00e4\u00dfig kleinere Mengen, \u00fcber einen l\u00e4ngeren Zeitraum, zu f\u00fcttern als einmal eine gro\u00dfe Menge abzukippen, wovon vielleicht ein Gro\u00dfteil von der Str\u00f6mung weggeschwemmt wird.<br \/>Zweitens man steuert mit dem Boot vielsprechende Stellen an, wo man Karpfen vermutet und versucht diese mit gezielt zu beangeln. Hier kann der Futtereinsatz deutlich sparsamer gestaltet werden, als beim station\u00e4ren Angeln. (Tipp: es kann sich lohnen, vielversprechende Stellen parallel mit der Feederrute zu befischen.)
